Summary

Bernisches Historisches Museum dedicates a major portion of its exhibition space to the life and work of the greatest genius of all time - Albert Einstein. Approximately 1000m² of space is filled with the animated films and experiments illustrating his ground-breaking discoveries and celebrating his triumphs and journeys in all facets. The Einstein Museum has about 550 original objects and replicas and 70 films outlining his biography and the highlights of his life, as well as the historical themes of his time. The Holocaust and Hiroshima bombing are explored, as is the eclectic world of the 1920s. Each tour comes with an audio guide (available in nine languages) and induction headset for hearing-impaired persons for a richer and more convenient exhibition experience.

Schedule

  • 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM  (Tuesday to Sunday) from January 1 to December 31, 2019.
  • Closed on November 23 and December 25.
