Summary

It all started with hotelier Johannes Badrutt winning a bold bet of gentle Engadine sunshine in the middle of winter. This seductive claim proved to be true and St. Moritz went on to become the ultimate winter wonderland for the upper class, celebrities, and those seeking upscale Alpine lifestyle. Here's your chance to experience jet-set living in the Alps, at an elevation of 1,856 m with over 300 days of sunshine a year. St. Moritz's bragging rights don't end with the sun becoming its emblem. St. Moritz was first known as a summer spa resort - thanks to its healing mineral springs discovered around 3,000 years ago, inspiring the Alpine town's spa and bathing traditions. Its recognition as a spa town belongs to its long list of touristic features, along with incredible Olympic Games credentials and the UNESCO-listed Albula and Bernina routes of the Rhaetian Railway. Book this package now and discover the site where winter tourism first began.
